On October 10, 2024 the Social Security Administration announced it's Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) for 2025. It is 2.5 percent.

Starting in January 2025 the average Social Security benefit will increase by $48 per month.

However, the average Medicare Part B premium (the part you pay) will increase 5.9 percent or about $53 per month for the average beneficiary.
