1. You may speak only to a secretary or call center employee and may not speak to your advocate or attorney until the day of your hearing.

2.  You almost certainly will not meet your representative until the day of the hearing.

3. It may be difficult to get an attorney or advocate to return your phone calls.

4. Business will be conducted by long distance phone or by mail, not in person

5. The firm you deal with may not invest much personal time in you because they are concerned with large numbers--getting thousands of cases and winning a small percentage of them: kind of an assembly line disability firm with little personal attention to each claimant
