DISABILITY LAWYER 60, YOU 31

Persons without lawyers win 31 percent of disability clailms. Persons with lawyers win 60 percent of claims, according to research.

It's no wonder that very few claimants attempt Social Security disability without representation.

The lawyer-advocate has an advantage because he or she:

  1. Understands the language and terms of Social Security.

  2. Knows the requirements you must meet.

  3. Knows what evidence is effective and what is not.

  4. Understands how the judge hearing your case thinks and operates.

  5. Has the ability to set up a legal theory of the case under which you can be paid.

  6. Will cross examine Social Security's witnesses effectively.

But doesn't a lawyer or advocate cost too much? No. It doesn't cost you a penny unless you win. When your claim is settled and your back pay arrives, Social Security will automatically pay the attorney's fee, based on a previously agreed amount. If you don't get any back pay, you will not be charged a fee.

60 percent vs. 31 percent. Why go down that 31 percent road? (256) 799-0297.
