Here is the specific plan you (or your attorney) must follow to get Social Security disability benefits approved.


  • DECIDE WHICH SOCIAL SECURITY GRID, LISTING OR RULE YOU NEED TO MEET.

  • SUBMIT PROOF THAT YOU MEET THE GRID, LISTING OR RULE.

Proof is objective medical evidence from doctors and other treating providers. Proof may also involve past work history, the demands of past work, excluding "other jobs" with arguments admissible to Social Security, etc.


If it sounds rather complicated, it is.


Your best chance of making a successful legal argument is to appoint an experienced advocate or attorney to build your case. Be sure your representative has experience in Social Security disability because it's an entirely "different animal" in the legal world.
