PACKAGE &  DELIVERY SCAMS THAT ARE OUT TO GET YOU

Yesterday I got 12 junk emails with tags like.....

  • Are you still interested in your delivery?

  • Failed dellivery

  • We need to contact you about your Fed Ex/UPS/USPS delivery

These are worse than junk emails.  They are SCAMS.

If you click on these scam emails, you will be redirected to a site that will ask you to confirm your address, take a survey, or some other phony rip off.

Often you are instructed that you have "won a free prize" but you need to pay shipping costs.  Just provide your credit card number.

You may be instructed that your delivery is stuck somewhere and you need to pay a fee to get your package.

No legitimate shipper sends out these types of emails.

You either paid shipping charges when you placed your order or the shipper is paying the charges.

And people get these scam messages who have not ordered a package at all.

Can you stop getting these scam emails?  No.  But you may set them to go to your spam folder.

The best advice is:  Ignore these scam messages completely.  Don't click on them, open them, or investigate them.  Just opening one of these emails may plant tracking malware on your computer that's designed to get personal information like bank account or credit card numbers, etc.  Ignore them.
