TV LAWYER vs. LOCAL ADVOCATE

You need Social Security disability benefits. You've been denied and feel helpless. You don't know where to turn. Then, while watching late night TV, you see a TV lawyer make his pitch. "We'll help you get disability benefits. Just call us at this 1-800 Number." What's the reality about this approach to getting Social Security help?

  • You don't know WHO or WHERE you're calling. That number may ring a thousand miles away.

  • You don't get much information about the person or firm you're talking to.

  • You can't meet your representative until the day of your hearing.

  • It's often hard or impossible to communicate with this firm.

  • The actor who portrays the lawyer on TV is probably not real. He was hired just for the commercial and he's reading a script.

Why Not Call a Local Advocate You Can Meet Now?
  • Make an appointment to meet your local advocate at his/her office.

  • Get a representative you can call, sit down with, and get to know.

  • Expect personalized, individual service to meet your needs.

  • Have a local office you can visit or drop off important documents in real time.

  • Get a local advocate who KNOWS the local judges and how they operate.

  • By the day of your hearing, you will already know your representative.

Most of the individuals I speak with who have called an out-of-state 800 number are not happy with their representative. They can't get them on the phone, they don't return calls, and the service is anything but personal.

When you call the Forsythe Firm in Huntsville, you will speak to an advocate personally who will evaluate your situation and give you advice on how to proceed. If a hearing is required, we will attend the hearing with you after we prepare the case and do the required preparation. You will always be available to speak to us and we do return phone calls. We are here for a personal visit to our office if you desire. The advocate who shows up at your hearing will be the same person you have dealt with all along.

How do we get paid? First, we never charge any fee unless you win your case and collect back payments from the Government. Consultations and all legal work is free until you get your money. When you get paid, Social Security will withhold our fee from your back pay check and pay us directly (the fee we have agreed on in the "Contingency Fee Agreement"). If you lose, or if you don't collect any back pay, all our work is free.

For a free consultation please call (256) 799-0297.
