TV LAWYERS AND YOUR DISABILITY

You are watching late night TV and worried about your finances, the fact that you are not able to work and the bills that keep piling up. All of a sudden, the TV lawyer comes on and promises to help you get benefits. A toll free 800 number flashes on the screen.

This, of course is not a lawyer, but an actor paid to look good and sound good. His one job is to convince you to call the 800 number.

The 800 may ring anywhere: New York, Chicago, Texas, or California. Anywhere.

Unless you ask, they won't tell you where the lawyer or firm is located. He or she may be 2,000 miles away. You will not actually see or meet your lawyer until 30 minutes prior to your hearing. You probably won't speak directly to the lawyer who will handle your hearing.

If this is what you want, go ahead and call the TV "lawyer." If you want local representation close to home, call a north Alabama firm. If you want to meet your advocate on "day one" and get to know him/her in advance of your trial date, call local. If you want the convenience of dropping things off at the office, hire locally. Local is easier, more convenient, and more accessible.

The Forsythe Firm is located at 7027 Old Madison Pike NW in Huntsville, across from Bridge Street. Our local advocates help north Alabama residents to deal with Social Security and the US Government. Your consultation is free and you never pay us a fee unless you win (with back pay). We have a strict "No win No pay" policy. (256) 799-0297.

You may not see us on late night TV. But we win disability cases here in town and in towns across north Alabama.
